Conigliari Plumbing & Heating are experts in all phases of boiler work including hydronic and steam systems.
HYDRONIC BOILER SYSTEMS
A hydronic boiler must always be completely filled with water and typically requires accessories such as an electric pump for circulation of hot water, a flow check valve, a circulator and an expansion tank.
STEAM BOILER SYSTEMS
In a steam boiler, high intensity of water boiling takes place in order to convert water into steam. Steam boilers do not require to be completely filled with water. The natural expansion of steam takes place which automatically fills pipes.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BOILERS AND FURNACES
A boiler heats water, which flows through a series of pipes which radiates heat throughout the house. A furnace heats air, which is then moved through the house using a blower motor.
